Let me start with this: Emotions affect us far more than we often realize.

Think back to a time when you spoke with someone who was stressed, anxious, or in a negative headspace. What did you feel afterward?

What about when you decided to run for a new goal, or work on a relationship, change up some habits? How did you feel?

Chances are, you felt it physically and emotionally — somewhere.

Maybe a heaviness in your chest or tension in your stomach. Your emotions shifted, maybe you felt triggered, some discomfort came up... without a word or intention.

And it doesn’t end there.

Sometimes, those emotions get stuck within you, impacting your entire day, your interactions, your thoughts, your life—even shaping how you see yourself.

When it comes to emotional blocks rooted in our own history, the effects can run deep.

Every painful or unsettling experience you’ve had—going all the way back to childhood— can leave behind unprocessed emotions.

Like songs playing in the background. And those “songs” those unprocessed emotions, those hidden blocks, could be the thing holding you back, keeping you sabotaging, keeping you stuck.

Here’s how it happens:

When a painful experience occurs, the emotion of that moment often becomes trapped within your body.

At first, the initial event, is just a feeling—an initial wave of emotion but if we resist it or push it down it can pull us into an experience of staying stuck OR attract more of the same experiences.

Like magnets drawing the same experiences and reactions to you.

Why?

Because, on a level we can’t see, we are wired to broadcast and repeat those ‘songs” until we have processed them.

Those unprocessed emotions keep shaping our choices, our beliefs, our outcomes… until we identify them and let them go.

Our childhood and daily experiences affect us mentally, emotionally, physically, and energetically.

But most people work to heal everything except the emotional core.

And that’s where so many stay stuck—searching for answers, finding none, feeling held back by something invisible, often self sabotaging, and staying stuck in unhealthy or unwanted cycles.

Until we address those hidden emotional blocks, the patterns will persist.

They live deep within, sometimes down to a cellular level, and they show up in our lives over and over until we finally release them.

No matter how hard you try to move forward, these unprocessed emotions will keep calling you back—until they are seen, acknowledged, and let go.
